TT Module
TT module stands for Triangle Tread module. It is a basic triangular tread set up, however, it is more compact then most. The motor is under the tread. The gearing is a worm gear, so this module is fairly slow. Overall, it is really strong, compact and the RCX can be mounted directly on to this module. Two robots that showcase this module are: Bugger and MRA-U. Bugger is a rover that is built only from two of this module, a RCX and a bumper. MRA-U is the same except that it uses two RCXes and it has a arm in the middle of two TT modules. The CAD contains what is needed to build this module, including more detailed instructions explaining exactly how to build it. Back |
